Every summer we prepare to tour the country doing festivals staging, weddings and events and. We have done this for over 20 years and still love visiting locations all over Britain. Our stage jobs take us up and down the country from the south west coasts of Devon, right back up North to Dumfries, Scotland. We wanted to share this tour and jobs with you so people can get a good taste of the variety of work we do.
Here are some of our jobs so far:
Beatherder started back in 2006 and has grown from strength to strength ever since. We have had the pleasure of delivering our services to Beatherder and love what they’re about. This year we constructed our own bespoke viewing platform. We wanted to keep up with the Beatherder, so we made sure it was funky. We decided to create intimate pod rooms with an open entrance so people can view the main stage. The pods offer a quiet intimate view. Somewhere, you can sit and relax, whilst still enjoying the music. We have our own manufacturing team that can create steel, wood or metal structures for us in days. So if we have a client with special requirements this can be dealt with efficiently.
The Orbit team also fit fascia on the main stage to hide the steel work- we placed dark wood planks over the steel structure, to create an authentic natural look, that fits in well with Beatherder’s theme.
Fascia work to cover steel.
Goldcoast is an award winning beach side festival that has been a client of ours for many years. The festival is an electric, laid back environment that offers music, surfing, action packed sorts and locally sourced food. The festival has huge acts such as Jess Glynne, Razorlight and Chase & Status.
For Oceanfest we set up our 15m Orbit stage for fans to enjoy the festival. The Orbit stage is made for an audience size of 8000 and has the Orbit roof to protect performers from the elements. This makes the stage a great choice for a variety of different events. The orbit is highly weather protected by quality blackout sheeting and
cantilever sheets that are used to fill grooves and the sides of the trusses.
The Summer tour hasn’t finished yet, we have plenty more travelling and constructing to do at some of the UK’s top Festivals and events. To find out where else we visit keep visiting our latest news.
